These bracelets and end-links were made for the 6309 diver, but since there are many similarities to the new SRP "reissues," it is a fit with these as well. However, one major defect of the SRP models is that they sometimes will have uneven lug holes. This is a manufacturing error that makes fitting solid end-link bracelets impossible. To get around this I am also including a pair of custom spring bars (2.0mm with 1.1mm tips) to try to rectify this, so if the fat ones won't line up, these will. (See instructions below).
Now, about the bracelet: It is heavy, comfortable, and just hugs the wrist. It has 6 removable links (with pins) and 3 micro-adjustments, covering all variety of wrist sizes.
Instructions for mounting (see also last 5 pictures)
You will find TWO sets of spring bars with your bracelet. The first is the standard 2.5mm spring bar for most divers, and the second pair is a custom-made spring bar which will give you more room to move the end-link around if the first pair does not work.
1. Solid End-links are not like the hollow ones, where you put in one side with the spring bar in the hole, and then bring in the second side. With these you have to come in horizontally, pressing both sides in at the same time. OR, have one side of the spring bar pressed in on the lug (not in the hole), and then use a fingernail to press in the other side.
2. Once the end-link is engaged, although not mounted fully in the holes, flip the watch over and press the bracelet towards the watch and wiggle it a little bit. This will usually cause the spring bars to snap into place.
3. If that didn't work, take a small tool (like a mini screwdriver) and press the end that is not seated in the hole. A little bit of pressure will usually cause it to pop right in. I have found that this works with every bracelet I have ever mounted, and I have done many!
4. Enjoy the watch!
