Seiko 6105 PROJECT WATCH For PARTS AND REPAIR
So, I am not a watchmaker, but sometimes I think I am. I had this old 6105 that is pretty grungy (See pics) and I wondering how it would look if I installed some of the best aftermarket hands out there. Well, it's kind of a clash between old and new, and not as cool as I had hoped. Add to that, the second hand didn't want to stay mounted and kept falling off. So, I decided to scrap the project and leave it as is.
The good: I am including the original hands, so it is all original. I am also including these AM hands that you can do with what you want. The crown locks, the bezel turns with good clicks. The watch runs.
The bad: The watch runs but the numbers are really bad and needs a service asap. Also, there are lots of dings and scratches all over the case. I took both sets of hands off the watch, which are included, but for now there are no hands on the watch.
I am selling this for parts or repair. It needs help, and maybe you can pick up where I left off?
